After a skin consult and double cleanse, (for this we use and recommend Eminence Organic Skincare) we begin our treatment with relaxation and energy balancing often accompanied with essential oils.
Our next step is the activation of specific acupressure points on the face (8 of the 12 major energy meridians have points on the face).
Followed by ancient Ayurvedic smoothing techniques to iron out fine lines.
Deeper techniques are used to release restrictions in the connective tissue of the dermis and lift the underlying facial muscles of which there are over 90 from the neck upwards.
The final part of the treatment concentrates on lymphatic drainage, scalp massage and grounding techniques.
How often do I need a treatment
A difference can be seen after one treatment, so you may enjoy a beautiful hour of relaxation before that special occasion when you want to look your best!
Although for optimal results, six treatments close together is recommended with follow-up treatments approximately a month apart to maintain the benefits.
Are there any side effects?
As well as the visible benefits, clients often report feeling more relaxed, sleeping better and relief from sinus problems and various stress related symptoms.
Compared to some anti-aging facial procedures on offer, Ayurvedic Facial Rejuvenation does not carry any negative side effects.
